I particularly love the French Princess costume in hot pink and blue which is so pretty and feminine. It looks like she’s stepped right out of the Royal Court of 17th century France. The costumes of this period were absolutely gorgeous creations especially as the French were the world leaders in fashion. The dresses were of a softer style often with excessive ornamentation such as ribbons, ruffles and lace.
Costumes during the Renaissance period (15th to 17th century) were made of beautiful fabrics such as velvets and brocade. The Renaissance Princess Josephine Child costume resembles the outfit a young noblewoman would wear during this period.
